NICHE – The Marketing Club

Today marketing is much more than just an isolated business function. It’s a philosophy that guides the modern day organization. ‘NICHE – The Marketing Club” thrives to identify the latest marketing tactics and strategies. The club aims to provide the students with deeper knowledge of marketing and how to use marketing as strategic weapon for achieving the competitive edge. The various activities in form of presentations, seminars and management games were undertaken by the club during the academic year.

Finance is an exciting challenging and ever- changing discipline. New technology and increased globalization are dramatically transforming financial practice and markets.

Objective of the Club is to enhance and update the knowledge about recent rends in finance by the way of seminars, presentations and various activities like:

  1. Capital Market Game
  2. Mutual Fund Quiz
  3. Group Discussion on “Investment in Real Estate” and “Feasibility of SEZ in India”
  4. Presentation on Commodity Market and Derivative Market
  5. Group Discussion on various aspects of Credit Risk Management
  6. Visited CNBC’s “Investors Camp” held at Rajkot

Consumer Behavior Survey Club

The human element is the integral force defining an organization’s ability to serve its customers. Therefore, leading companies throughout the world seek out qualified marketers to bring them a sharper competitive edge and greater efficiency.

Guided by the philosophy of “Theory with Practice”, this club offers the students an opportunity to practice their consumer research skills required for an effective understanding of the psychological dimensions. Activities under this club have enabled the students to understand different buying patterns for various products.


Career Enhancement and Counseling Cell

Students are counseled on importance of advancing career growth and opportunities in their life. For this, Mock employment procedures such as Personality Test and Personal Interview are conducted under the able guidance of the HR Consultants.


Must Read Club

The club aims at creating interest and involvement of the students in economics, marketing, financial and other miscellaneous issues and in developing their exposure to contemporary corporate practices. For this students undertake various literature surveys enabling them to interpret & grasp journals, magazines and business newspapers.


Event Management Club

Perhaps the most exciting area of students’ involvement comes through the mega events with enormous gathering. Here is an ideal opportunity for the students to broaden their horizons
